How to Use a Rapid Weight Loss Diet

Diets that promote rapid weight loss help you lose weight faster initially and are actually more beneficial than they are harmful. As you first start the diet you will lose weight quite rapidly since you will be expending a lot of water that has been held in your body by excess carbs and proteins. These rapid weight loss diets are very popular, but they are not permanent solutions to weight loss. Unless you change the way you eat and what you eat as well as keep up with a regular workout routine the results will only be temporary.

Some would suggest that this means that rapid weight loss diets ultimately do not work. Yet, to the contrary, they work very well but only when they are used properly. Anyone who misuses a rapid weight loss diet will soon realize that they can’t keep up with it forever and will soon give up and gain back all the weight the initially lost. To avoid this you must understand how a rapid weight loss diet actually fits into your overall weight loss agenda.

These types of diets are not meant to be followed for long periods of time. In fact, if you try to follow a rapid weight loss diet for very long your body will recognize the large energy deficit you have created in your body and will respond by lowering the metabolism all together. This results in a plateau in your diet where you simply stop losing weight and a major decrease in energy. Rapid weight loss diets are simply meant to jump start your weight loss and should be followed by a more reasonable, manageable diet that will help you keep the weight off.

While rapid weight loss diets work well on their own, they are much more beneficial when coupled with a regular workout regimen. Performing any vigorous activity for about thirty minutes a day three to five days a week will do the trick. However, if you haven’t followed a regular exercise program recently you’d be better off if you eased your way into it. Since you may be out of shape its safer not to push yourself too hard at first. And if you find the workouts too difficult you are much more likely to stop doing them.

You’ve likely heard someone say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, it’s true, and even more so for anyone looking to diet. The average obese person will skip breakfast all together which makes them hungrier later in the day and overeat to satisfy their self. As long as you eat three meals a day you will most likely not have to suffer any bouts with hunger. If you do find yourself eating more than you should at each meal it is a good idea to split your meals up into five. This way you can completely avoid hunger all together and not have to worry about binge eating.

Your meals should be a well balanced mixture of low fat foods such as whole grains, vegetables, and water. You should always be prepared for every meal and know exactly what you are eating and how much is too much. It is often best to prepare meals from a preselected menu of healthy recipes that allow you to know every ingredient. Eating out is not out of the question, but your restaurant and food selection must be made with your health in mind. Eating at random places at random times of day is never a good idea.

One way a rapid weight loss diet can help you get the jump on getting thin is by cutting your caloric intake in half right at the very start. To do this you should lower your portions at every meal so that you are only eating half the food that you normally would. By doing this you still get to eat the foods you love and will be losing weight at the same time!

Rapid weight loss diets will get you nowhere unless you make the permanent lifestyle changes necessary to keep the weight off after you initially lose it. After you reach your target weight, maintain a manageable and healthy diet that will keep you looking your best for years to come!

Extreme Fat Loss Diet – Is Rapid Fat Loss an Illusionary Concept?

Is it possible to lose weight fat through an extreme fat loss diet? It is, but only if you know the right steps to take. No one wants to weight forever to lose weight. That is why so many people will seek a method of weight loss that delivers quick and immediate results. That is why there is such interest in an extreme fat loss diet. But, does such a creature exist or is rapid weight loss an illusionary concept? Actually, you can lose weight in a rapid manner depending upon how you go about things.

Is it truly possible to lose a great deal of weight in a short period of time? The answer is yes but dieters must realize that there will be certain expectations that must be adhered to in order to ensure their expedited weight loss goals are met. In other words, while an extreme fat loss diet exists, certain principles of how the body works must be understood. Namely, potential dieters must understand that their metabolism will not allow them to lose significant amounts of weight week after week because dieting will eventually lead to a slight and gradual slowdown of one’s metabolic function.

When you cut out a great deal of calories during an extreme fat loss diet, your body will experience a rapid display of weight loss because it is not getting the high amount of calories it once received. Cutting out 1,000 calories a day from a diet will yield upwards of 2.5 pounds of fat the first week of the diet and probably an additional 7 – 10lbs of water weight as well. This can lead to a dramatic change in one’s physical appearance that will be undeniably significant. But, of course, such weight loss will not be common every week because the body will initially drop the weight out of an almost sense of shock. In time, the metabolism will slow down but the initial gains of rapid weight loss will certainly remain. This is, of course, a positive thing.

In some cases, an extreme fat loss diet can involve a VERY high level of cardio and exercise. But, this type of exercise needs to be tempered with proper rest periods as well. In other words, you can workout very hard for three days a week and be sure to get adequate rest the other four. Working out hard seven days a week is usually not a good plan because it increases the odds of injury and burnout. When done properly, however, high intensity workouts can greatly complement an extreme fat loss diet.

In terms of the actual food one eats (or does not eat) on a weight loss plan intended to reduce one’s body fat significantly, it is not always necessary to go on a starvation diet or restrict a particular food choice. Rather, finding a decent diet that works for you can often help you meet your weight loss goals effectively. One of the better diet plans for this strategy is the Fat Loss 4 Idiots Diet. This is an excellent diet program that can effectively promote weight loss in an expedient manner. As such, it remains highly recommended.

The Only Rapid Fat Loss Diet You Will Ever Need

While it is generally regarded that consistent weight loss of 2-3 pounds per week is the safest and the easiest to sustain, there are a number of reasons why you might want to push the envelope and embark on a rapid fat loss diet. Perhaps you have a class reunion approaching, or your friends surprised you with a trip to Cancun in two weeks. Or maybe, for psychological reasons, you need to see some quick results before you settle into a more conventional nutritional program. Regardless, there are no shortages of “starvation” or “crash” diets, supplements, and a million other items being peddled to people in your position. Let’s talk about the problem with traditional starvation diets and then we will go over a rapid fat loss diet which is admittedly difficult, but which will also reveal astonishing results in just a few weeks.

Have you ever tried to lose weight by starving yourself with the “Grapefruit Diet”, or the “Cabbage Soup Diet”, or any of its myriad clones? If you have, you will probably recognize the problems with these diets. The first week, you will most likely lose a lot of weight. Perhaps even a pound per day. By day 7 you step on the scale and you’re down 7 pounds! You tell all your friends about the diet and this is how the fad continues. However, during the second week the weight loss slows down, you are having painful cravings, you feel ill and foggy headed and unable to work. Worst of all, the weight loss has come to a standstill. So, you think to yourself “well ten pounds isn’t so bad, I’ll just end the diet now”, and what do you know? Within a few days you rebound right back to your original weight or perhaps you even picked up a couple more pounds as a “souvenir” from your trip down starvation lane!

Here is an important point, and if you can remember this, you will never fall for another starvation diet again: Your body holds between 5-10 pounds of water underneath the skin. When you go on a starvation diet you are only losing water! The minute you start eating normally the weight will come back, and since your metabolism has likely slowed down from malnutrition, it is very likely you will gain a couple “souvenir” pounds as a reminder of your horrible experience!

When designing the ideal rapid fat loss diet we need to take the above into consideration and take advantage of the millions of dollars of research poured into nutritional science each year. I will warn you: This diet is not easy. But, on the upside, it is easier than gulping cabbage soup all day long and it is the most effective rapid fat loss diet that has been published to this day. Here are some of the advantages of this rapid fat loss diet:

It includes fiber. This is important for the health of your digestive system and cholesterol. It is woefully lacking from most rapid fat loss diets. Sufficient calories. You will be in a caloric deficit, but the total number of calories are double than most “starvation diets” and the results will be much better because they are the right kind of calories. Timed carbs. By eliminating carbs you will spare muscle and burn fat quickly. However, if you were to cut carbs out altogether you would quickly plateau. It is important to shake things up regularly, and for this reason you will consume carbs at the right times. After workouts and once per week in the mornings, when insulin response is greatest. Healthy fats. The diet includes health fats which help with energy, strengthen immune system, increase oxygen uptake, and so many other benefits we don’t have space to list them all.

Here is your shopping list:

High Quality Protein Powder (Make sure it is isolate, buy a two pound bottle so you aren’t stuck with a taste you don’t like). If you like fruity flavors than I recommend Syntrax Nectar. Shaker bottles. You will find these at a sports supplement store when you purchase the protein powder. Milled Flax Seeds. These provide your fiber and some of your EFAs. Purchase these at a local health food store or online. Udo’s Oil Capsules. This will provide you with the all-important EFAs. Available at any health food store. Oatmeal. One of the following: Raisins, blueberries, blackberries. Grape Juice (Optional, see below)

Take your ideal weight and divide by 30. Round this number down and this is the number of protein shakes you will be drinking throughout the day. Include the flax seeds with each shake and take two of the Udo’s capsules with each shake. You will be mixing the powder with water only, and ice if you prefer. You can mix the shakes ahead of time and take them to work with you. It is very important to drink them regularly throughout the day and never go longer than three hours without a shake.

Pick one day per week for your carb meal. On this day, you will substitute a bowl of oatmeal and your chosen fruit for the morning protein shake.

If you work out intensely, you can include one 8oz glass of grape juice after a weights workout three days per week. Otherwise, the weekly oatmeal will be your only carb source.

After following the above rapid fat loss diet, and including the RFB training routine, many people have reported losing up to 30 pounds in 28 days. Of course, we know that some of this is water (5-10 pounds), but since calorie consumption is sufficient you will avoid the negative side effects of starvation diets, and most importantly, your will results will be long lasting.

Rapid Fat Loss Diet – How to Lose Fat Fast

The best fat loss diet alone will not get you fast results you must combine the proper diet and workout to achieve quick results. The workout portion will take care of burning calories, while the diet plan takes care of reducing them. Below are the most popular diets that don’t work.

Low Carb Diet

With so many diet plans available today I understand your confusion. They all have good and bad things about them. For instance the low carb diet will help you lose fat fast, but once you introduce them back into your diet you’ll notice the fat slowly creeping back on.

Low Fat Diet

Then there’s the “low fat” or “non fat” diet Maybe you’ve tried one of these? Let me ask you another question? How is it that more people are getting fatter than ever before by eating low fat? Eating fat free is the most unsuccessful diet you can try. Studies over the last decade show the average American is 33% fatter!

Low Calorie Diet

Research shows at least 90-95% of the people who lose weight on low calorie diets will not keep it off. Another big problem following this type of diet is you will lose muscle, water and very little fat. The outcome of eating a low calorie diet is a much, much slower metabolism that will affect your future weight loss efforts.

So let me ask you what diet are you going to try next? Still confused! Let me set you straight if your looking for rapid fat loss that’s safe and proven for losing up to 30lbs in the next 60 days. Would you be interested?

The Rapid Fat Loss Diet

The Rapid Fat Loss Diet targets insulin, a blood sugar hormone strongly linked to storing fat in general especially belly fat. The first line of attack is eating a high protein breakfast. When you eat a protein meal in the morning it’s broken down in a way that maintains a steady blood sugar level for hours, and a steady blood sugar means less insulin, and less body fat on your body.

One study discovered dieters who ate a protein rich breakfast lost 34% more body fat than dieters who got the same calories but less breakfast protein! This plan has you eating mini meals that will not only keep your blood sugar leveled throughout the day but will also boost your metabolism.

By eating mini meals throughout the day you also slash levels of cortisol, a stress hormone strongly linked to storing belly fat. Bonus: Frequent small meals mean you never get hungry so it’s the opposite of being on a diet.

When you combine protein with carbohydrates with every mini meal it keeps insulin leveled all day. To enhance the effect, the rapid fat loss diet has you eating whole grains which are proven to melt two times more body fat than white flour foods.

The Workout

I know from experience most people hate exercising. That’s why I love this workout it only takes 10-15 minutes three days a week to get rapid fat loss results. Look I’m not talking about those long boring workouts these are quick fat burning muscle toning workouts you can do right in the comfort of your own home. Quick fat loss is possible if you follow the right diet and exercise.

Why Some Rapid Weight Loss Diets Are Ok When You Need to Get in Shape Fast

Most of the weight loss advice that is found in magazines and books etc state that you should aim to lose weight slowly and consistently over a certain period of time so to avoid what is known as yo-yo dieting where you lose a lot of weight quickly but then put it all back on again one the diet period has finished. Now this is correct and the approach I use with all my personal training clients.

However there are times when I think using rapid weight loss diets are ok to follow. This could be if you are going on holiday and want to look your best on the beach or you are getting married and want to look your best on the day. Basically any event where you feel being lean would make the experience more enjoyable.

Lets face it when we are leaner we feel are more attractive, our faces look better (so long as we don’t overdo it) and we have more confidence. Plus it’s a great feeling going buying lots of new clothes that we can now fit in and show off our new body.

So when it comes to rapid weight loss diets you may have tried a few with varying success but here is one I use myself and recommend to clients and friends and it always does the trick.
First off work out the ideal weight you are going for in pounds then multiply this figure by eight to give you a rough idea of your daily calories. No starchy carbs allowed only clean proteins and veggies for every meal. Keep your fruit intake to only 2 pieces a day Every meal to be low carb and low fat. If you must have carbs only have them after an intense workout. Drink at least 4 litres of water a day. If you need more energy then have a black coffee or green tea. No Alcohol as if you didn’t know already

To make this rapid weight loss diet successful then you must do lots of exercise as well.

Hit the Cardio hard at Least One Hour Per Day

All cardio workouts to be done in a fasted state so no food at least 4 hours before your workout.

Try to do some resistance work 2-3 times a week. Do low reps with higher weights

As rapid weight loss diets go this one is not for the long term and I would advise doing it no longer than 3 weeks or your body will start breaking down muscle plus you will be miserable as hell.

Performing the cardio every day while in a fasted state and on restricted calories is what makes this diet work. If you can’t manage cardio every day then I would advise including 2 fasting days every week whereby you skip breakfast and lunch and only have dinner. This is not for everybody but if you think you can follow it through you will be amazed at the results.

5 Powerful Strategies For a Rapid Weight Loss Diet Plan

Losing weight sounds simple but very rarely is. The trouble is that we all want to lose it quickly but underestimate just how long it can take to actually get lean. For a lot of people this a big reason why any diet plan fails as expectations are too high and when people don’t start seeing amazing results quickly they soon give up and the old habits start to return and before we know it we are back to where we started. If this sounds like you then here a 5 important factors that you must follow if you are going to have any success with a rapid weight loss diet. Always remember weight loss should be approached with a long-term plan but with the occasional quick fix to get you in peak condition for events, holidays or any other occasion where looking your best is important.

1.Eat Less – I cannot stress this point enough. If you want to lose weight and lose it quickly then you have to burn off more calories than you consume. Now you can do this with extra activity but this is time consuming and takes a huge amount of effort. A more simple way is just to eat less. Any rapid diet plan that is successful regardless of what you are eating is one where you are eating fewer calories than your basic metabolic rate. There are many such diet plans out there you just need to research the one most suited to you and your lifestyle. Personally the easiest and most effective calorie reducing system I have found is Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon.

2.Perform High Intensity Exercise – High intensity whether it is cardio or resistance training is how you should approach all your workouts. This works better than traditional ‘steady cardio’ workouts for 2 reasons. First high intensity intervals and resistance circuit type training burn more calories than ‘normal cardio’ can. Second they build and tone muscle, which keeps your metabolism up.

3.Get Support – This is one of the most important factors too losing weight but is very rarely considered. Trying to lose weight on your own can be very tough with many people feeling isolated from family and friends as they try to maintain their diets. I would advise to try and encourage other people you know to start with you and make it clear to family and friends how important losing weight is too you and that you need their support. Once you have people in the same position as you and supporting your goals it will keep you more motivated and less likely to miss workouts or cheat on your nutrition. A lot of people hide their weight loss plans in case they don’t see them through and look like a failure but I think by telling everybody what you plan to do it shows that this time you really do intend to get the job done.

4.Eat more Fruits And Vegetables - Yes you have heard or read this a million times but are you really doing it? It is a very simple strategy but highly effective. Having more vegetables especially in your diet will make a big difference as they don’t contain many calories but will fill you up quite quickly. If your not sure about this just try for one week to eat only vegetables and protein for every meal obviously making sure it is within your daily calorie allowance and see what happens.

5.Set Goals and deadlines – Setting goals and deadlines is a very powerful tool to losing weight but one that most people fail to do. I prefer to set short goals on a daily and weekly basis. These include targets to be hit in my workouts or only eating certain foods all week. As you build up your list of goals you have accomplished you will increase confidence and momentum towards your overall long-term weight loss goal.

I also try to have a deadline of maybe a month or up to 3 months. I think longer than this can overwhelm people and they don’t feel attainable. Deadlines are very powerful especially when they come in the form of some event, holiday or other important occasion. For example I have yet too train a bride to be who didn’t hit their weight loss goal for their big day. Events like that are incredible motivators and create the correct mindset for weight loss. It is the same for film stars. The reason that all of these top stars look great on film is not that they are somehow different too us mere mortals. It is because they are completely focused because they have a deadline that must be reached. This means they don’t miss workouts; they train like demons and out of the gym they watch their diet and lead an appropriate lifestyle.

If you can put any or all of these 5 strategies into effect then you will have very effective rapid weight loss diet plan and be well on your way to achieving your weight loss goals in record time.
